To safeguard the environment, our assets and our people, we established and maintain a comprehensive management system. This system complies with recognised international standards:
Our management system makes sure we meet all the legal, regulatory and other requirements that apply to us and our activities. We take this very seriously. So to ensure full and proper compliance, regular inspections and tours of our premises are conducted by external auditors and regulatory officials, but also by our own staff.
The standards we comply to
ISO 9001 provides a model for a quality management system which focuses on the effectiveness of the processes in a business to achieve desired results. The standard promotes the adoption of a process approach emphasizing the requirements, added value, process performance and effectiveness, and continual improvement through objective measurements.
ISO 14001 is the most recognized international standard for environmental management systems. It provides a framework through which an organisation can deliver environmental performance improvement in line with its environmental policy commitments.
OHSAS 18001 is an internationally accepted standard for OH&S management systems. It is applicable to any type of organization – large or small – within any business sector. It provides a framework based on the well-established management principles of Plan-Do-Check-Act. It requires the organization to identify the hazards and assess the occupational health and safety risks related to its activities and services, determine the necessary controls and to set clear objectives and targets to improve on its OH&S performance.
ISO 55001 specifies requirements for an asset management system within the context of the organization and can be applied to all types of assets and by all types and sizes of organizations.
